5.4 MW

Richardson Solar is a 5.4 MW grid-connected solar project located in Blackville, SC, which utilizes some 16,500 crystalline solar modules, and supplies power to the local utility under a long-term PPA. For its first full year of production is forecast to generate over 9 million kWh of electricity, and amount of power that would offset annual emissions from over 1,350 passenger cars, or nearly 16 million miles of driving by a single-vehicle. Similarly, it would represent enough power to offset the annual energy use of nearly 770 average US households and would represent an amount of Carbon Dioxide sequestered each year by over 7,500 acres of forest.
